What can you learn from our client campaigns?
In the reported monthly comparison for a Fresno CPA firm, paid leads increased from 8 to 34 at the same budget. These are reported leads, not completed sales or a forecast for another business.

When does paid search make sense?
Google Ads can be useful when people already search for what you sell, you have a clear offer, and your business can respond to the enquiries. A campaign also needs a relevant landing page and a budget that supports testing.
Fresno and Central Valley businesses differ in how far they travel, what jobs they want and when they have capacity. Those differences should influence the targeting and message. Paying for searches outside your service area or for work you cannot take on is a poor use of the budget.
Before setting up a campaign, we work through those business requirements. If the offer is unclear or requests go unanswered, addressing that problem may matter more than increasing ad spend.
What does Google Ads management involve?
- Search intent: choose the services and queries worth testing, and identify irrelevant terms to exclude.
- Campaign structure: organize the work around related services and the destinations that explain them.
- Location and scheduling: align the campaign with the area you serve and your ability to respond.
- Ad messaging: make the offer specific and consistent with the landing page.
- Landing pages: check whether visitors can understand the service and contact the business easily.
- Measurement and review: inspect costs, search terms and enquiry quality, then adjust based on evidence.
The proposal should make clear which work is included. Media spend, management, new landing pages, creative production and third-party tools are different costs, and they should be visible before a campaign begins.
How do you know whether the clicks are useful?
Judge the campaign against qualified enquiries and eventual customers where your records allow. Clicks and impressions help explain delivery, but they are not the final business outcome.
Start by agreeing what makes an enquiry useful: the service requested, location, job size or another factor specific to your business. Share that feedback with the person managing the campaign so decisions are based on more than a form counter.
Keep advertising cost and other campaign costs visible. A low click price can still be expensive if the visits are irrelevant. A higher-cost enquiry can be worthwhile if it leads to profitable work. Your margins and capacity provide the context.
Website tracking needs to respect visitor consent, and it will not capture every interaction. Reconcile campaign reporting with the requests your team actually receives before drawing conclusions.
Questions before launching a campaign
What budget should we start with?
The appropriate budget depends on competition, the services you want to promote and what a customer is worth to the business. We discuss a scope and testing budget using those facts rather than a universal minimum.
How quickly will ads bring customers?
A campaign can start reaching searches after setup and approval. That does not guarantee immediate enquiries or profitable results. Testing the message, audience and destination takes observation and adjustment.
Can we target just our local service area?
Location settings can help focus a campaign, but they still need review. Share your actual coverage, including any exclusions, so the targeting and page content can be aligned with the work you accept.
Do we also need SEO?
SEO and paid search have different jobs. Ads buy access to an auction; SEO improves your ability to be found organically. Consider both in the wider plan, while keeping the reporting clear enough to judge each.
What should we prepare?
Bring your priority services, coverage, capacity, current website and any past campaign results. We can then discuss what the campaign should achieve and what needs to be ready before launch.
